Located 13 miles from the Wallsend terminus of the journey, Dingle Dell is the sole provider of Tea Room refreshments for a good stretch of the journey. Whether it is a lunch stop, and time to kick off the walking boots to enjoy a bite to eat and a nice cuppa, or a quick stop and grab a sandwich/lunchbox for the onward journey, we will cater for your every need. After tackling the hills on the way into the village, most people are ready for a break and some sort of refreshment. Dingle Dell offers you variety, service and quality - all at affordable prices.

For large parties, please book food in advance, so that sufficient resources can be ensured and the order be ready for your arrival. Do so by choosing your items from the menus page and using the enquiries page to make your request. All enquiries will be answered within 2 working days.

To find us, follow the signs for the shops in the village (located at the junction) behind the Abacus nursery.

The Delicatessan can also be the start or finish of a number of shorter circuitous walks in the area, with routes from 1-5 miles and of varying inclines. So, whether passing through on the Hadrians Wall route, taking in the historical sites of the village, or partaking in a local ramble, we would love to see you.
